Get Some Traffic Now
Well thank god that Xmas is over as it is usually hectic and you cant get anything done with all the shopping ,Visiting,Partying,Eating and all the rest you know what I mean,well I havnt had time to concentrate on this blog but am good to go now.
I am going to watch the Session I missed two weeks ago now to get some ideas hopefully as The Traffic has not been breaking the doors down for me so its just not as easy as people make out ? there has to be an easy way and I will just have to keep looking.
That Twitter is mad and you really need to be checking it every hour to keep up so I am away to update it now see U soon TR
Oh just before I go got an e.mail from Mike Filsaime ref the Twitter site and he is raving about it so there must be something in it if he is recommending it to students.

Go to Bed with a Sore Head
Boy my head is spinning after the latest brainstorm with Alex Jeffreys
I thought it was never going to end but he did say as long as it takes thanks mate you the man, where do you get all that energy and patience from ah yes Katie’s coffee and redbull Great.
I am blown away with all this stuff its hard to take it all in but write the list and follow the path is the only way and I still have not listened to the last two sessions I missed but will catch up during Xmas hopefully I have another blogsite which I write reviews and do some Blogposts if anyone is interested have a look its at www.blogtoyourbank.com
I have been trying to get some traffic through various means but it seems hard work as I have tried Targetpro Blaster,article Marketing,Trafficswarm,instantbuzz,and surfing sites maybe these are not right so I am now trying the Socail Media sites and hope this will give me exposure so any ideas would be grateful.
Anyway thats it for today have to go get some Xmas shopping done now

Moving on to Web 2.0 and Getting Traffic
I wasnt happy recently when due to other things I missed two of Alex’s sessions and was waiting until they are loaded, so I started to look around the Web 2.0 sites and started with Twitter and got that setup ok still dont understand the ins and outs but so its setup anyway.
I then went to Squidoo and setup a lens and it was easy enough but needs more work,I already had a Facebook account but did not use it much so started to update that and its a minefield like all the others but good fun socialising.
I already had a Youtube account and like the rest only used it to mess about and look what others where doing but will have to kuckle down and use it now for better things,so if anyone has any good tips on using these weapons please let me know.

Why are we Waiting/Optin Page
Well I dont know about you but I have been waiting since Thursday to check out the Brainstorm session which I missed unfortunately as my son takes priority.
Support said it would be up within 24 hrs maybe im blind and yes I know Alex was away enjoying yachts and drink but he lets the other guys do this sort of stuff,so where is it guys as we are moving on now and its seems forever since last Tuesday session . Why has it been changed to Thursday ? I need more info.
Anyway I was looking at the optin on my site and thought hey something is not right here as i had entered my details to test and make sure it was all tickety boo but then realised that the Thank You page was coming up immediately and hey presto get your FREE book and goodnight, I Right no way so my stomach sank and I went over to check some stats wondering why I was not getting any optin’s or sales and yes to my suprise 310 people had been there and nicked the book shit.
I tried it again with different optin and yet again sales page arrives before the confirmation e-mail so off to aweber and removed the Thank You page and inserted it into confirmation page thank you,ok I know you get a basic welcome page but who cares if it works and saves the day im sure we will now work on that to make this all a better experience for the customer.But at least I know they have to optin and confirm before getting the report now.

Missed The Brainstorm
Well its Friday again don’t the week fly on the Internet?
I missed the Thursday night session with alex and all the
Brainstorms going on but im sure it was good so when it is uploaded
I will take time out and listen, Ref my blog I have the analytics installed
and it is working and reporting already GREAT , I have been trying to get some traffic
and it is a minefield with all the options so i just had a go at everything 
only joking
but I did try a few things like forums,free ads,blasters,articles,adwords,organic etc
you get the picture so what works ? who knows just wait and see what Alex will teach
us or go mad on the web 2.0 ?
Anyway it seems like all the students are working really hard looking around the net they seem to be popping up everywhere just like me so at least we done something right.

The Coaching Session
Well after listening to Alex on the Coaching Session I was buzzing but really tired as it went on for ever but I will have another listen today to see what I missed.
Another great session and its so powerful what Alex is saying to get it accross to everyone like the baby walking we all have to walk and not run so i was determined to get the Google Analytics sorted.
I have been using the Cpanel which is great as it gives you Awstats or Webalizer and breaks everything down and is easy to read but I when into my google account and setup the Analytics and it gave me the code.
I uploaded the file using the FTP program and when I viewed my dashboard it was there so just entered the user code and pasted the analytics code into my theme and heh presto it was all done .
So it just goes to show you anything is possible and I am getting a great buzz on the achievement side.
Funny thing is we spoke about books and help from other people which is great but I have learned if you sit back and take a deep breath most of the things we try to do are explained in black and white you just have to look and READ!
And usually it tells you step by step how things are done or they have help files.
Anyway hope everyone is working hard I am now trying to get traffic - any ideas ?
I hope Alex is going to buy me a beer when he comes over on Friday to Belfast or he may be to busy on that new Yacht of Andrews Party Party? only joking I know you work really hard it shows Enjoy.

Friday blues
After Tuesdays training I was really excited and thought Friday would never come but alot of people where behind so it was cancelled and oh boy was that wait to Tuesday so long.
So I got stuck in as it was going to be a long weekend all i could do was study and try to improve my blog and it was very frustrating as it was not playing ball but as Alex says you have to get the head down and get stuck in.
I got my blogroll done and a few other tweaks so I am listining to the webinar now and want to get the Rss feed sorted out.
It is really important to get the blog sorted and the only way is to keep at it and take one thing at a time.

The Coaching Has Started
Well at last the Coaching from Alex Jeffreys started last week
And all I can say is stupendous.
I thought it was never going to end late at night and all that but
not taking anything away from what was a great show and when you
hear what it is all about you just want to get stuck in and go.
I dont know about anyone else but I was buzzing and could not
wait for next weeks show.
Got all the mindmapping done and relaxed so what next ?
Well it was Tuesday again and off we went on another session
I listened very carefully and took it all in and was glad Alex kept
it very direct and brief or should I say to the point (Like That)
Alex mentioned a few sites one being www.garryparkes.com which
I had a look at which I thought was very good and its great to see so
many people have taken action and got something going.
I went to bed late and got up and thought when you come home
later go for it and get stuck in and guess what I have just set my site up
and can now relax until Friday (not) check it out.
So I hope all you other guys have done your job and got those sites rocking.
